Clinical Experiences

Supermicrosurgical lymphaticovenous anastomosis (LVA) is the minimal invasive procedure among surgical treatments for lymphedema. In additional to the need for a high-power microscope and supermicrosurgical instruments, the supermicrosurgical skill is very demanding. Dr. Yang has performed many microsurgical reconstructions, including more than 1000 cases of head and neck reconstruction. He was also invited to join the world-renowned liver transplantation team right here in KCGMH and participated in more than 400 living donor liver transplantation (microsurgical biliary reconstruction and hepatic artery anastomoses). All these experiences have laid a solid foundation for Dr. Yang to perform supermicrosurgery. Dr, Yang has so far performed more than 220 supermicrosurgical LVA. We are the leading supermicrosurgery center in Taiwan.
